Review: Heavy Duty & Didn't "Stink" - So I bought these to put 5 of them on the under side of a marble table that I used in the middle of my living room. I would have to drag the table to move it out of the way and it weighs roughly 70lbs. I attached 5 of these wheels to the bottom wooden portion of the marble table. 1 on each corner and 1 in the middle (for added stability). Installing was simple you just screw them in. Their wheel base is thick enough to not settle too far into any thin carpet rug you might have. They work great and don't squeak. Also there was no real smell from the box or wheel. I assume the factory in which they are manufactured got an overhaul as the wheels smelled like a brand new pair of shoes. People have had varying degrees of success getting the dents out of cork. I have these casters on bamboo and no issue with damage at all.
