I keep trying different suggestions (boiling amount and steeping time) but it tastes watery and not sweet at al** A: 4c water, 1c tea, 3/4 c sugar. Bring water to a boil, add tea, let boil 3 minutes. Turn off heat, add sugar, cover, sit for 30 minutes. Strain, cool. I use 3/4 tea to 1/4 milk over ice. **Q: How much tea can 1 bag brew?** A: I make a gallon at a time and 1 bag makes me 2 gallons with about 1/4 cup of tea leaves to spare. I use 3 cups per gallon **Q: Is it leaves or just powder?** A: It is leaves that have been processed for you to steep in hot water and then remove. I use the little disposable bags that you can also purchase from Amazon. One of the Original Thai Iced Tea Mix, makes about 200 cups!! After brewing for 2-3 minutes, take the leaves out (if you don't have bags, a fine strainer will work to remove the leaves) add sweetened condensed milk for authentic Thai tea, or regular milk and Stevia, chill for iced tea, or make it extra strong and pour over ice cubes. Enjoy! **Q: How many bags do i need to make a gallon??** A: One bag of this kind of tea will make at least 200 8 oz cups of tea!! So, you do the math. 1 bag makes a lot of tea, several gallons, I'm sure!! ## Frequently Bought Together - Number-One ChaTraMue Original Thai Iced Tea Mix 400g Bag, Pack of 2 - The Thika : 5.3” Large Reusable Coffee/Tea Filter Traditional Thai style,Coffee Strainer, Cloth Tea Filter Sock, Pour Over Coffee Dripper Filter - Number One Milk Green Tea Mix in Fine Loose Leaves with Mild Jasmine Flavor, Effortlessly Make Iced Thai Green Tea with Milk or Boba Tea, 70-Year-Old Traditional Brand from Thailand (7 oz Bag) --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.pt/products/16115559-number-one-chatramue-original-thai-iced-tea-mix-400g-bag](https://www.desertcart.pt/products/16115559-number-one-chatramue-original-thai-iced-tea-mix-400g-bag) --- *Product available on Desertcart Portugal* *Store origin: PT* *Last updated: 2026-11-06*
