It came nicely packaged in a fancy rectangular box with the actual desk pad lightly rolled and protectively wrapped in a thick tissue paper. It laid flat almost immediately once placed on my desk. It’s an impressive size for the cost. Actual fine leather with all the qualities of a nice piece of top grain leather. The stitching it excellent and the rounded corners lend to a very sophisticated finish. I’ve seen others that almost appear to be “raw” cuts with the appearance of an unfinished scrap of leather being passed off as a finished product. This is a beautiful piece with a classic look. My mouse glides effortlessly and writing on this beauty feels great. It doesn’t get marred by anything I’ve placed atop it thus far.
