The cable was purchased to allow a connection to be made between a Skywatcher Adventurer GTi EQ mount and a Canon DSLR. The 'Snap' port on the EQ mount is 2.5mm, while the cable that attaches to my Canon has a3.5mm jack, hence the need to get a 2.5 - 3.5 conversion cable.It works very well, and the coiled section stretches out as the mount/camera move during slews etc. Communication with camera and mount is perfect and so far, no issues. At first I was a little dissapointed because they fell out of my headphones pretty easily. However, I realized that you're actually supposed to turn the 2.5mm male side into the headset to lock it in place. It turns about 180 degrees and if you look closely it will fit more snug into the headphones.It's super tight but it definitely doesn't come lose when I'm using it.
