It's enough to light up an entire room about 30 square feet easily when you have it on a green-tinted color. The red is the dimmest, the blue is almost as bright as the green, and of course any color is possible so you can get a wide range of brightness settings. I personally like to keep it on a low orange hue, almost like a fireplace, which gives a good relaxing feeling to the room I'm in.The cons:I couldn't care less about the Infrared remote capabilities, but they do work fine. I'm interested in the wifi/bluetooth control. The app here, MagicStrip, isn't quite as flexible as MagicHome (the main competitor I'd think), because you don't get timers and as many user-definable functions to create smooth gradients. That said, using the app to select a color, brightness and sync to microphone activity is effortless and you can save your favorite colors.I gave the adhesion three stars because you really don't want to use the built in adhesive directly on your walls; it will leave residue if you try to take it off later. These lights are so Awesome. The Quality of these lights are even better. The Adhesive is really sticky. The App is super easy to use. Download the App, it will instruct you to turn on your Bluetooth it's that easy. I wasnt expecting the lights to be this good. I have have Philip's Hue Bulbs as well, but these lights are brighter and have more vibrant colors. My kids love them. Makes watching movies and playing Video games an experience. Now I'm gonna order some for my other TV, and my Garage. Buy these lights you wont regret it. Overall, I'm the most impressed and happy with this purchase. The biggest problem I have with light strips is the adhesive tape, but I have to say the tape on this set is really strong. The strip itself is also really thin so it doesn't look bulky around my windows.I'm also really impressed by how bright these are! They are way brighter than my Hue lights, which I've spent around $100-200 on. These have 16 lights to choose from, including a white light. There's also a flash, strobe, fade and smooth transition function. You may also adjust the brightness. There's an app that you can download for your smartphone that allows you to sync your Apple music to it. The lights sync to my music but they only have this really fast strobing option.. so if you have epilepsy don't use it. I am more than happy with this purchase regardless though, I will mainly be using the remote anywaysI honestly wish that I had found these lights before investing in Hue lights.
