I tried to deal with it but with differing cable length and thickness it’ll always be imperfect in one way or another. Attaching it is easy as pie though I wish the mic arm was a little more bendable. You can bend it but it feels like you’ll break it if you do. It’s hard to judge sound quality for microphone objectively, especially since you’re generally not the one listening to it, but in the few tests I’ve done it sounds more than acceptable and nobody has complained about not hearing me yet. I had to get another cable to join the mic jack and heaphone jack into my laptop’s combo jack. I don’t know how long the glue will keep the widget attached to your headphones and bumping the mic can cause the magnet to detach and the mic unceremoniously dropping off.
