I can't find them anywhere. Do they no longer make them?** A: Freestyle lite strips ARE getting harder and harder to find, problem of supply and demand, I just checked Amazon and they have a provider offering 8 packages of 50 strips for approx. $192.00. I have and endocrinologist whom rights me a prescription for 300 strips for a 90 day period, I however still have to find other available avenues to fulfill the additional need , however I do test 5 to 8 times daily. HOPE THIS HELPS...THOM **Q: Does it measure ketones?** A: No, it only measures glucose levels. **Q: Which batteries are reqiured?** A: 1 each, CR2032, available at any drug store, to include most box stores, a single batt. This glucose tester is shown bundled with Contour Next test strips as a package deal. You might think that Amazon would bundle the correct test strips with the glucose tester, but NO!!! The bundled test strips DO NOT FIT this monitor. So at this point I have to give the product a rating of "1" because I can't try it to see if it works. Edit: Amazon very quickly replaced the wrong test strips with the correct ones, so now I was able to use the meter. I've used other glucose meters in the past, so it's fair to say that this one is the best as far as speed is concerned, and the required blood sample is extremely small. It works with just a tiny amount of blood, where other meters would have failed. So I would highly recommend this blood glucose meter to anyone interested in these advantages.
