This is an absolutely beautiful cover! It fits like a glove on my Yamaha G2 piano (made for that exact instrument). Open up the flap of the lid, and the ruffles cover to just exactly the bottom of the folded-back portion. Fit the seams to the instrument, and the cover is well taylored, as you lift the piano lid, the cover will stay on and not fall off. The fabric has a sheen and feels like silk or rayon to the touch. Holding my hand to one side of the fabric while holding it up to the light, it does seem to block out most of the light (which can not only fade the paint, but also warp the soundboard if the instrument is exposed to too much strong, direct sun. Under ordinary circumstances, my piano technician said that one does not need a thick fabric to protect the instrument. If you really do have high sun exposure, close the drapes or add extra fabric such as cotton or silk underneath this cover, but for me given our great lighting but no direct, blaring hot sun, I see no need for it). In addition to protecting the instrument from light and dust, it really adds a beautiful decorative touch to our living room and really does seem to do a good job of blocking out most of the sun. Francesca at the factory, is very quick to respond to emails and is very, very courteous. The satiny sheen in the livingroom is at once simple and elegant. I am very pleased! :-)

Very well made piano dust cover. It is light enough to easily put on and take off, but sturdy. The velvet is a beautiful deep red, plush, and a pleasure to the touch. It is lined with a thick satin inner layer.I have a vintage Knabe 6’3” - so I can’t vouch for how well it fits a Yamaha 3 series, but it’s just a bit snug lengthwise on my 6’3” piano so I’d guess it should be about perfect in the 6’1” G3/C3/S3 series.

I was so surprised to open my cover, it was packaged excellent in a box upon opening the box the cover was inside a beautiful white Satin logo pouch which was so elegant and impressive, after opening the piano cover I was so impressed the cover is very high quality and beautifully sewn and fits my wurlitzer piano perfect. The customer service I received was excellent. I would give this product 10 stars!!!Clairevoire is the only way to go!Roxy

I never write reviews, but this product and company deserves kudos. I have been looking for a nice cover for my piano and have even ordered custom elsewhere. Never found the right thing. I didn’t have high hopes for this because frankly the photos customers have posted makes the product look frilly and cheap. Instead this cover is a lovely black velvet with a nice black underside and the ruffle edge is in excellent taste! I ordered the 6’1” for my 5’10” and it looks gorgeous! Well worth the price and received in two days Prime.

I purchased the 6' 1" wine piano cover and exceedingly pleased with not only the fit on my 6' grand piano, but also the lovely wine fabric. It is an elegant yet simple design.

5’3” size fits Yamaha GH1 perfectly. The seam construction makes it easy to apply and remain in place without sliding around. Velvet material is soft, non-shedding, and elegant. The ruffled edge is a nice touch. The underside is smooth and glides over the piano. Fabric care instructions are on inside tag. You can lift the front flap to practice without completely removing the cover. Now I have peace of mind about protecting my piano from dust, sunlight, and ocean air.
