About as silly as puppy sometimes but appropriate, right? Could have had more information on practical things like, what are good treats, especially since you'll be giving hundreds to your pup if you use his methods. The book is really about using positive reinforcements -- treats -- to establish a number of behaviors in response to verbal cues. It's not a comprehensive owners manual for your puppy.
