It is sooo easy to install. Seriously I did it in 5 mins & didn't read instructions. I did glance over them enough to realize it was basic instructions & wasn't my 1st time installing a showerhead. I have installed quite a few since I am picky about my showerhead. I like to have some pressure but I don't like splashing water everywhere, nor do I want it to be uncomfy. Now when it comes to patterns, I tend to like a standard pattern, per se. Im not into pulse or mist & etc so I cant really speak on the pattern much because the average setting is the one I prefer & it's perfect on this one. I did remove the piece that controls water & I almost went & put it back but when using both heads at sametime, its needed. I imagine if I had left it, I would be very unhappy when using both heads so yes it does change the pressure when use both at sametime. It does also run my hot water out fast if use both at sametime for 10mins or so. My little girl showers w/me so I just get in before her & use hotter water to shave & then have her get in & it works out perfectly. If only use 1 head at a time, I don't notice any issues w/hot water so keep that in mind if hot water runs out. I know if I put regulator back on I prob wouldn't lose hot water as fast when using both but the pressure would be terrible. Now it is almost too strong when using one head & w/handheld only it is, for me that is. Overall, I love this product & couldn't be happier really. The price is great considering the product actually works like it says it does. Believe me, that can be hard to find in a showerhead that is inexpensive. DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN. *by T***N on September 26, 2023* I was disappointed in the water diverter not being made of metal. DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN, YOU COULD CRACK THE PLASTIC. We will see how it holds up. We got this so we could give our dog a bath in our tub. But just after we ordered it my wife broke her ankle. So this will be an even better test of it because she now has a shower chair in the tub. It came with everything to need to install it and it took me 10 minutes to install. You do not need any tools if you are using there shower head. I attached our rainfall shower head with an extension arm. That was the only tool i needed.
