Kratax flashlight is not a well known brand in the flashlight hobbyist community. Initial out the box examination the flashlight feels very solid and promising. I have a few 14500 flashlights and Kratax E05 is one of the smaller ones in the market. You can easily carry it in your pocket or put it on your keychain. One unique feature of Kratax flashlight is that it comes with a magnetic tail cap. You can attach the flashlight to metal surface like car hood and use it as a work light.Kratax E05 has a smooth reflector. But due to the size of the reflector the beam pattern is more flooded than as a thrower light. E05 is advertised at 800 lumen output. I have no equipment to test the light output. But compare to my other 14500 flashlights that have similar output, E05 has same or higher brightness.Kratax E05 is power by a 14500 Li rechargeable battery. The capacity of the battery is checked by Zanflare c4 charger and the actual capacity is higher than the stated 850mAh. Runtime of the full battery will last more than an hour at turbo/high(the flashlight will drop from turbo setting to high after 3 min to protect the light from overheating). At the end of 75 minutes the light is low but still usable. You can also use a regular AA sized battery to run the flashlight. But you will not achieve the max 800 lumen ouput.One thing I did not see in the package is a charger for the 14500 battery. You will need to get a separate battery charger to charge the Li-Ion battery.Overall this is a great flashlight, everyday carry, and bright enough for most jobs that requires extra light.

It seems well thought out - bright, good UI, nice beam and color, has a magnetic tailcap and comes with a diffuser (for reading and "romantic time"), quarter turn lockout. Surprisingly nice, it's pretty much like a real flashlight. Doesn't come with a charger though, otherwise it would be a good gift to introduce people to better flashlights. It does work with AAs, at least with the Eneloop I tried, but then you lose the brightest setting.Edit: someone pointed out this really looks like a clone of the Wuben E05.

This light is very misrepresented as 900 lumens, it is more like 500 lumens. Very upset that this light does not live up to the hype.

Bought this set for my son last Christmas, he really enjoys it. The flashlight is super bright and we use is walking the dog at night all the time. The pocket knife is a great utility tool and he always has it on hand when we're camping or at home opening up amazon packages lol

This is a nice little gift item for someone who would appreciate having both of these handy items. The extra batteries included is a bonus. The flashlight is pocket size and offers good lighting options. Along with the knife that is decent and adequate, these make a good pair. For the price, these won't blow your mind but you get at least what you pay for with these.

Can't comment on battery life yet, but this flashlight is BRIGHT! It's metal, and seems like it is built to last. The button is crisp, and the pocket clip will work in both directions. Good Stuff.
