Palio Emerge Pro Carbon Table Tennis Bat
These reviews by their nature are inevitably subjective and probably not that useful to any propspective buyer. That said I will do my best to make my review/personal opinion useful. Firstly this bat seems fairly well made and feels comfortable in my hand. I would agree that someone with large hands could struggle with this bat but would also find the same issue with most if not all Chinese mass produced bats, if not any mass produced bat. I usually prefer a straight handle but did not find the flared handle difficult to get to grips with, sorry about the pun. The bat supplied to me weighs 175gms and not the 186 as listed, so if weight is a concern, that's quite a discrepency and something to note. Apart from that the bat performs much as described and has the potential to take a new player to a fairly high standard. I have made a couple of minor mods and these are sanding the sharp edges where the blade meets the handle. I do this with all my bats. In my experience, wheather custom blades or mass produced bats they all seem to be the same in that these edges are left as cut.Could be that very expensive blades don't suffer from this but I have no experience of this kind of bat. I do have some custom blades but none costing huge amounts, say £80 plus. The other mod was to use sponge edge tape to protect the blade and rubbers, which incidentally I find to perform to the same level as the DHS Hurricane series. In conclusion my opinion is that this bat represents good bang for the buck. You could certainly pay more and get a lot less. Naturally the more seasoned player will want to experiment with higher end gear but this is not a bad jumping off point. The caveat is, it may not necessarily suit you.

Very good Bat.
A very good Bat. A very good upgrade on my Grandsons old bat. Rubber is a significant upgrade. His game has come on great after using this for the first month.. It's great value for money, and is Highly recommended.

A bat with a very poor blade
This item is for a player who had some experince but is far away to be use in competions . The rubbers seems to be good, give spin , but the blade is awfull. In contact with the ball you fill the vibrations in handle and because of that the ball will not have a speed. Thought is ergonomical design, easy to hold and control. Is a bat with a medim value, nothing special

Brilliant but could come with additional cleaning equipment
I have been playing for a year and have found that the grip required for this bat can become problematic as the handle is quite small in diameter. However, this is made up hy the fact that it is much lighter, relieving the additionally stress upon the wrist. The pain and control of the bat is brilliant. My boy point of criticism is that maybe it would come with a rubber cleaner to remove sweat and other debris from the surface.
