## Description

Product Description desertcart Basics Double Sided Tape with Dispenser, 1/2" x 7 yds., 3 Pack From the Manufacturer desertcart Basics

Review: Cheap & Cheeerful. A cheap easy fix for cat scratching upholstery. - Bought to keep my young ferrel cat from scratching furniture and this works a treat. Much better than the expensive sprays. No damage to upholstery that I can see and no odor or repeat sprays. Cat was so surprised at the unpleasant stickiness. The only drawback is sitting in the chair can get a little sticky, but once the cat knows not to scratch there, I think the tape can be removed. I will wait a while longer to remove.. but if the scratching starts again, just apply more tape, just here and there is enough. I used only 1 of 3 rolls for 3 vulnerable upholstered chairs. Less than $3 for tape or $300+ to reupholster each chair. There is nothing to dislike other than that the tear off on dispenser is slightly less sharp than I would like.
Review: Reliable and easy to use - I wasn’t expecting much from this tape because it’s cheap and from the desertcart Basics line, but it actually works really well. The dispenser feels lightweight, but the tape itself is strong. Once you stick something down, it stays put. I used it for small craft projects and to mount photos in a scrapbook, and it held everything without peeling or lifting. It’s also easy to pull out and cut, which is something a lot of double‑sided tapes struggle with. The dispenser doesn’t jam, and the tape doesn’t bunch up or twist. The roll is on the smaller side, so it’s not something you’d use for big projects like hanging posters or heavy decorations. But for everyday stuff like crafts, school projects, gift wrapping, labeling - it’s perfect!

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Not super sticky which may be good thing
*by K***N on December 16, 2025*

The stick is not super strong but that can be good for removal. I didn’t realize at first you have to pull out a ways before you get to two sided glue.
