There is also a mounting hole on one of the clamp faces (underneath the silver elastic band). The hole's position is a bit awkward, but I was able to use self-tapping screws to bolt this to the side of an industrial machine, so that a webcam could point at something inside the machine's safe zone. Prior to bolting it down, the clamp held everything quite well. Because it's a gooseneck and not a tripod, there will be some shakiness from vibration, but this is unavoidable. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great for the price, awesome length and strength for a projector or vlogging. *by S***Y on July 12, 2020* People complained about this not being flexible enough, but i think the stiffness is great. I use it for a projector, and I like that its harder to bend. It means that whatever weird shape you need, it's not going to flop over and break your electronics. Just don't try and bend it while its clipped to a surface, which is probably why people are saying the clip is flimsy. It is a very substantial clip with a firm grip, but it is still plastic so use your brain.
