I don't know where to order just the gear, but I would replace the unit. You get all new parts. Then just keep the old one for parts. **Q: Does anyone know if this will work on a 1989 Southwind with Kwikee 2 step?** A: Most all electric steps use same type of control Take a look at your motor (Steps) and from the Kwikee picture you can see if the look the same. If so you should be ok. However to be sure check with Southwind. Look at bolt patytern, and plug in for electric. They are easy to change. Are you sure it is the motor or is it the magnetic door switch? **Q: I have a 2007 Dolphin motorhome with kwikee steps. Will this fit? Is there any other part that the steps need beside this?** A: If it has Kwikee steps, this should work. You shouldn’t need any other part if only the motor is broken.
