I have the Battery Tender Jr. harness connected to the pos and neg of the main battery. This will send the charge through the one way isolator and charge the second battery. The blue light in the isolator will come on when the signal is sent through. If you put the harness on the second battery, the charge does not go through the other way, back to the main battery (from what I have been told).
