(we avoid using teflon in our home.)** A: Product tag lists materials as polyester & cotton. Outside shell is 80% polyester + 20% cotton, inner filling is 100% polyester. **Q: Does the quilted material leave patterns marks on the item being ironed?** A: I really don't know. I bought it primarily to protect my washer and dryer. I have an ironing board that pulls out of a drawer. However it does have a pretty dominant diamond pattern and I could see how it would leave some marks. Sorry I don't have a better answer for you **Q: Does it sweat underneath ot after using steam? I have a different brand and I have been placing a towel underneath it to prevent moisture damage.** A: I've used it with my steam iron and didn't notice any sweating but I used it on a bed and not on an appliance. **Q: So this can be used on a table or on a plastic tray?** A: A table yes, i don't know about a plastic tray. I dislike it because it melted as soon as my iron went over the edge of the shirt i was ironing and touched the pad. It works ok on a table if covered by a cloth ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great - just as expected *by P***Y on September 9, 2026* Love it ! Used it multiple times and so far it’s very durable and thick. Easy to use and has strong magnets. Great addition to small spaces where having/storing/using a full size ironing board is difficult. Great for traveling too. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great table protection! *by S***D on November 3, 2025* The mat is just as described. I am using it to iron small quilt pieces onto a background fabric on my card table. So I want the table to be protected. Works great! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Works for my Maytag machine *by A***Y on February 6, 2020* Unfortunately for me, my washer and dryer hookups are in the garage. This being said, I do not have any counter space to place my laundry basket on when I unload/load my basket. We have been placing the basket on top of the dryer and this has been leading to scratches on it. Since my set is still fairly new (about 1 year old) I decided to purchase this to protect the top of my dryer from further scratches. The fit is great and the magnets on it help it stay in place. Someone commented that it didn’t work because new machines aren’t magnetic but like I said my set was purchased brand new in 2018 and it works for mine. I won’t be using this to iron on, so I can’t comment on that, but the thick pad is helping to protect my machine. I’m happy with this. ## Frequently Bought Together - Ironing Mat, Ironing Pad, Iron Mat, Iron Pad, Dryer Top Protector Mat, Ironing Mat for Table Top, Ironing Pad for Table, Magnetic Ironing Mat, Ironing Pad for Countertop, Ironing Blanket, for Travel - BLACK+DECKER Easy Steam Compact Iron for Clothes, Automatic Shutoff, Nonstick Plate, Light Weight, 1200 Watts --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.pt/products/16697445-ironing-mat-ironing-pad-iron-mat-iron-pad-dryer-top](https://www.desertcart.pt/products/16697445-ironing-mat-ironing-pad-iron-mat-iron-pad-dryer-top) --- *Product available on Desertcart Portugal* *Store origin: PT* *Last updated: 2026-10-05*
