Good travel charger if it works for your setup
I bought this after someone on a travel-focused forum recommended the company. There were few reviews of their products and none of this. My job requires monthly travel and I was tired of lugging around multiple charging options for the myriad of electronics that end up in my suitcase. While I am tech-savvy, I am not a power-user, and did a lot of research as to whether this charger would fulfill my needs (cut down on stuff being packed). Newer, more modern electronics might not play well with this (for example, my phone charges slowly but doesn't complain about charging via the USB port on this charger, whereas my Samsung Galaxy S4 and S3 tablets don't charge quickly enough to replenish the battery while being used). My laptop is a Thinkpad X220 with a second generation Intel i7 processor; essentially, a power hungry workhorse in comparison to today's more efficient i7s. Even so, the power bricks that were sold with the laptop (either a 65W or 90W adapter) were a bit bulky in comparison to the slimline designs that are coming out (and in the case of the 65W adapter, the laptop battery must be installed in order for there to be enough power for the i7 to reach peak performance). For my use case, which is providing power and recharging my X220 and charging my phone, this works well and has been a nice alternative to carrying the OEM 65W Thinkpad charging brick and cables and the adapter for my phone (a 4 year old BlackBerry). I have been using it for various periods of time spanning 1 day to 3 months as my only means of charging both my laptop and phone (as well as other USB items), and have had no issues other than the aforementioned slow charging. I did have some complications with getting the proper tips from the company for my laptops, but once that was cleared up, I started using the product immediately.I would hazard a guess that more modern electronics might not play nicely with this charger (as experienced with my Samsung tablets complaining and going through battery too quickly to recharge while in heavy use). The charging brick also does get hot. What I can say is that after half a year of use, this surprisingly has been an interesting and useful purchase for me, has been used on a variety of trips in a variety of situations (including international travel), and I hope to see more products out there in the future (especially ones that can deliver enough power to charge my laptop and tablet quickly). To sum it up:Pros-slimmer than OEM charging brick for my Thinkpad X220-functioned overseas as well as in the US-satisfactorily powers and charges my laptop as well as my older phone-surprisingly compact for what it is and really cuts down on the bulk of bringing two separate charging devices for my electronics-clean, simple design-company provided plug tips for specific computers free of chargeCons-slow charging via USB which could cause more modern devices (especially those that are power hungry or prefer fast charging) to complain or drain even while being charged-brick does get warm/hot which concerned me a bit when I first started using it-it was a bit difficult to discern which tips were needed and, in my case, I was sent the wrong ones for one of my computers, but eventually, everything was squared away-due to its slimmer design, it sometimes seems that it might need to be handled with more care than the OEM charger for my laptop (though this is why I bought it; to save weight and space)-cord is short which is a bit annoying, especially in areas where outlets are limited

Need different adapter tip
Needed a different tip for my laptop than the ones shipped with the power adapter. Put in an order through the web site link from innergie they replied and asked for a detail then shipped the correct adapter for my laptop. The charger works great and will charge my usb devices and my laptop at the same time. The tip adapter process to get a correct adapter for my laptop was not fast if your buying this because you donโt have a charger then you might not have the adapter tip you need in a timely manner but the manufacturer will make it right.

Innergie makes a great product, but will not ship you the tip you need
We've ordered Innergie adapters before, and they work great. The trouble is that trying to get them to send you the right tip in their 'free tip program' is an arduous journey into a sulfurous wasteland of frustration and despair. First you'll find that the included tips don't work for your laptop, despite what the description says. So you'll place the 'free tip' order and hear nothing. And then get nothing. You'll follow up by email or phone, and get an apology, followed a few weeks later by the wrong tip. It's been like this for years. The reason I've gone back is because it's a quality product that can be adapted to different laptops. But once again, after ordering this laptop adapter from Amazon in April, I'm still waiting not only for the right tip, but also for any sort of acknowledgment from the company that they've ever received my multiple requests (via their own website) for the tip I need.If one of the six included tips will work for you, great. If you live close enough to the supply depot to walk over and nag them into giving you the required tip (included in the purchase price) then you may be in a good position to make a somewhat satisfying purchase. But if you're planning to get a tip through their website, steel yourself for a test of your sanity. Your laptop may be obsolete before your tip arrives.

Excellent Product
Used this as a travel adapter for my laptop. It is small, lightweight and has a USB outlet so no need to carry a separate charger for a phone. Never had any problems, works as advertised.
