But read the detailed review first. *by T***R on 5 March 2020* This review is after 3 weeks of using this oil applicator.So I bought this with the intention of using oil sparingly with well distributed oil application. And this does that job beautifully. The maximum capacity of the oil in the container is 30ml and you literally have to use no more than 4-5ml for your entire scalp. So the first time I put in too much oil and then had to reuse the applicator 2-3 times without washing it (which is not recommended) and finally when the oil still didn’t get over I tilted the container onto my palm and slathered the remaining oil on my scalp. So caution #1: Put less oil in the applicator.Now the washing part. And that’s the deal breaker for me because OMG you have to use a LOT of water to get all the oil cleaned from the container in the applicator. Without hot water it’s not possible. And then lot of soap and more hot water. Then keep it dipped in a mug of hot water to get the final oil bits out. And getting the oil and scalp debris out of the comb in the bottom requires heavy water consumption. And that’s my gripe with this product. I’m an advocate for saving water and this poses a brutal waste of water and electricity (increasing your carbon footprint on this planet which really needs saving and little measures of personal water and electricity consumption go a long way).So even though the product is excellent (which is why I am still giving it 5 stars), I’m not satisfied using this for oil.So for all the hair, diy and haircare enthusiasts out there I do I have hack for the most potent and useful manner of employing this product. USE WATER BASED SERUMS, ALOEVERA GEL and other similar products like apple cider vinegar which also have excellent scalp nourishing qualities and that help reduce hair fall, promote a healthy scalp and help with dandruff too. And the applicator is very easy to clean because water based products get easily cleaned with water alone. But don’t forget: use less quality nonetheless because the applicator requires very little product to dispense it efficiently. ### ⭐⭐ Difficult to apply *by R***. on 3 November 2021* The product when filled with oil and combing very little oil is coming out of making it very difficult to apply the oil.
