It will shut the system down if it starts raining during operation as long as it is enough water. Mine normally will not run for at least 24 hours after a good rain. **Q: how far apart can sensor and reciever be?** A: Up to 800' line of sight. This varies depending on what the signal is passing through, walls, trees etc. We recommend trying to keep it within 50' of the controller. **Q: Will the transmitter and receiver stay paired up after a power outage or do you have to manually reestablish pairing?** A: I have to reset from outside every time there's an outage. **Q: Can this be installed with a Weathermatic SL 1600 controller?** A: If the Weathermatic SL has a "bypass" or sensor system in place, you should be able to us it. Review the owners manual for the Sensor to see if your controller wiring schematic is compatible. I used the Hunter RainClick on a Rainbird controller. Hope that helps. ## Frequently Bought Together - Hunter Sprinkler WRCLIK Wireless Rain-Clik Sensor System - Hunter Industries Hydrawise X2 8-Station Outdoor Irrigation Controller --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.pt/products/170594345-hunter-industries-fluidra-44297-wr-clik-sensor-and-receiver-rain](https://www.desertcart.pt/products/170594345-hunter-industries-fluidra-44297-wr-clik-sensor-and-receiver-rain) --- *Product available on Desertcart Portugal* *Store origin: PT* *Last updated: 2026-10-06*
