Keep in mind it was possible to crush it in two stages, first we opened the adjusting wheel to the most coarse setting and then set it to a finer setting and ground it again. 0,19 inches of thickness is a lot for a pill, anything less than that should not be a problem. Please help?** A: The problem I had was similar, but I couldn’t get the mechanism to actually crush anything larger than an 81 mg aspirin. There is an adjustment to open up the grinder which allows the powder to fall through. Take the bottom chamber off, turn the crank handle counter clockwise while holding the black nut on the bottom and it should open up the space between the grinders.
