Why buy a whole tube for nearly thirty bucks when you do not need that much? This synthetic grease with clay thickener, often used on aircraft wheel bearings can withstand high temperatures (-65ºF to 350ºF) and will make your trigger and gun operate very smoothly, reducing friction, wear and even corrosion. Mobilgrease 28 synthetic grease is the same grease used by Geissele Triggers, as well as many others. Mobilgrease 28 is a supreme performance, wide-temperature, antiwear grease designed to combine the unique features of a polyalphaolefin (PAO) synthetic base fluid with an organo-clay (non-soap) thickener. Its consistency is between an NLGI No. 1 and No. 2 grease. It offers outstanding performance over a wide temperature range. The wax-free nature of the synthetic base fluid, together with its high viscosity index compared to mineral oils, provide excellent low temperature pumpability, very low starting and running torque, and can help reduce operating temperatures in the load zone of rolling element bearings. The clay thickener gives Mobilgrease 28 a high dropping point value of around 300ºC, which provides excellent stability at high temperatures. Mobil grease 28 resists water washing, provides superior load-carrying ability, reduces frictional drag, and prevents excessive wear. Tests show that Mobil grease 28 lubricates effectively rolling element bearings under conditions of high speeds and temperatures. Mobilgrease 28 has also shown excellent ability to lubricate heavily loaded sliding mechanisms, such as wing flap screw jacks. For more than 30 years, Mobilgrease 28 has been the multi-purpose grease of choice for military and related aviation applications, worldwide. ## Features - Mobil 28 grease in a hard to find size. - The trigger grease trusted by many trigger and gun manufacturers - Mil-Spec gun grease in easy to use quarter ounce container for use with guns and other smaller applications. - MIL-PRF-81322G, DOD-G-24508A, Amendment 4, NATO G-395 - Comes with pair of vinyl gloves and brush for easy application ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B00WYC9OV8 | | Best Sellers Rank | #238,626 in Sports & Outdoors ( See Top 100 in Sports & Outdoors ) #278 in Gun Lubrication | | Brand Name | Pilots HQ | | Container Type | Container | | Customer Reviews | 4.6 4.6 out of 5 stars (97) | | Item Form | Grease | | Liquid Volume | 0.25 fluid ounces | | Manufacturer | Mobil | | Material | clay | | Model Number | mobil28kt | | Number of Items | 1 | | Number of Packs | 1 | | Part Number | mobil28kt | | Recommended Uses For Product | Automotive | | Specific Uses For Product | firearm maintenance, gun assembly, high-temperature applications, friction reduction in machinery | | UPC | 638353588151 | | Upper Temperature Rating | 350 °F | | Viscosity | High Viscosity Index | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Pilots HQ - **Liquid Volume:** 0.25 fluid ounces - **Material:** clay - **Package Information:** Container - **Recommended Uses For Product:** Automotive ## Images ![Mobil 28 Grease Kit - 1/4oz (Specifically Sized for Gun Owners and Builders), Best Gun and Trigger Grease.
