**Q: what is maximum SD card size**
A: The manual says 128gb, I have a 64gb in mine and it works fine. I wouldn't get a 256gb card unless it's confirmed by someone that it works.

**Q: What type of usb charger does this require**
A: I use my laptop to charge mine. Also it charges via the cigar lighter in the car when in use. If you download the manual from the internet I believe it has info regarding the permissable voltage.

**Q: I am not initially having it hard wired. is the charger a usb or just a traditional cigarette charger**
A: I don't have a cigarette lighter in my car. Can I use a usb

**Q: Does both front and rear cameras turn on by themselves when the ignition is turned on?**
A: Yes.  Really good quality.  I have the 222x where the rear camera is a USB plug in attached to the front camera however so a little different to the one you are considering.
