One it was on fire it burned very nice. And yes, YES, it did smell like, chicken! Well, when the breeze would waft you’re way anyways. All in all, it was well worth the money. The packaging is funny, the smell is there! If you burn it inside in a fireplace, I imagine the smell probably all goes up the chimney, but for an outdoor campfire it is noticeable! This, however, is going to do it! The smell is pretty authentic (I had the box sitting in my office and I started to feel a bit hungry because of the faint fried chicken smell, which equally horrified and delighted me when I realized what was happening).
