A full manual can be downloaded on the clock's page (and the Quick Setup sheet is also downloadable). If you mess up (or the wireless connection messes up), don't panic. The first thing you want is to have the sensor make a connection to the clock. Follow the directions about the order in which you place your AA batteries: "Should I put the batteries in the sensor first or in the clock?" Read the directions (which can be totally wrong... in which case, you would have to switch which part gets the batteries first). If the connection between the sensor and the clock fails to display the outdoor temp or the "radio signal strength" icon on the display shows nothing, remember that computer chips have residual memory even with the batteries out. You have to scrub the memory in the clock. Remove all batteries (both clock and sensor). Press and hold any button on the back of the clock for, say, 20 seconds. (It's the same thing as when your cable or satellite stops responding. To reset it, unplug the box. Give it time to drain the memory glitch that caused your box to stop responding. Plug it again, and the box will have the missing bad data replaced with new good data). Getting the clock to sync with the satellite: Biggest complaint about these clocks, by far, is, "My clock doesn't communicate with the satellite!" Again, the manual points out that the satellite emits a signal during a certain frame of time--that is, during certain hours of the day.
