Review: These things are AWESOME - This thing is both huge (but they look very cool, so I don't mind) and amazing. These are the third pair of SVS subs I've bought (PB-1000s, then SB-1000 Pros), and I have loved them all. I am testing each individually in a smaller room until I'm ready to set them up permanently in a much larger space, and have had them paired first with Emotiva towers and now with 0.7 Magnepans. In both cases, they blended in amazingly and punched me in the chest even on low volume (I placed them behind my couch). Music and home theater use made no difference: just awesome, flawless, deep, deep bass. The phone app made adjusting the sound very easy and to a high degree. SVS subs are always well worth the purchase price, and these are absolutely outstanding additions to my home theater. Do not hesitate if you are thinking of buying one. NOTE: My music tests were selected tracks from The Chemical Brothers, Underworld, and Bass Mechanik via a Denon x4500h. For home theater, the War of the Worlds scene where alien first rises out of the street. In all cases the sound was crystal clear no matter the frequency, and my house shaking. A lot. Review: Great sub, awesome manufacturer customer support - This is great if you don't want a traditional 'big square box' type sub, but still want something that sounds awesome. It's so much easier to fit into a living (not dedicated HT) space than pretty much any other subwoofer. And it doubles as a small table (ours has a plant on it.) I have it running wireless, using an SVS sound path adapter (the tri-path whatever one) with no sync or issues with standby. The absolute best part is SVS customer service though. I bought this in 2022 from a seller here on desertcart. It was all good until about a month ago (January 2026). The sub started making a thumping sound when not even connected to anything. I was all set to purchase a new subwoofer, but a 10 minute call with SVS (a human answers the phone and actually discusses the issue with you - no hoops) ended with them shipping out a replacement amp that I received within a couple business days along with a tool (just a hex bit) and instructions on how to replace it. The sub is great, but SVS is the best. ## Features - 550 Watts RMS - 1,500 Watts Peak Power - Fully Discrete MOSFET Output - 12" High–Excursion Driver - SVS Subwoofer DSP Smartphone App Available ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B082LVWQ5B | | Additional Features | Lightweight | | Antenna Location | For Home Theaters, For Personal Computers, For Smartphones or Tablets | | Audio Driver Size | 12 inches | | Audio Driver Type | Dynamic Driver | | Audio Output Mode | Surround | | Best Sellers Rank | #202,448 in Electronics ( See Top 100 in Electronics ) #367 in Home Audio Subwoofers | | Brand | SVS | | Built-In Media | Subwoofer only | | Color | Piano Gloss | | Compatible Devices | Personal Computer, Smartphone | | Compatible with Vehicle Type | Car | | Connectivity Protocol | Bluetooth | | Control Method | App | | Controller Type | App Control | | Customer Reviews | 4.8 4.8 out of 5 stars (37) | | Enclosure Material | Aluminum | | Frequency Response | 20 hertz | | Is Waterproof | FALSE | | Item Weight | 47.4 pounds | | Manufacturer | SVS | | Model Name | PC-2000 Pro | | Model Number | PC-2000PRO-PIANOGLOSS | | Mounting Type | Floor Standing | | Number of Audio Channels | 5.1, 7.1 | | Number of Items | 1 | | Power Source | AC | | Speaker Maximum Output Power | 1500 watts | | Speaker Size | 12 inches | | Speaker Type | Subwoofer | | Specific Uses For Product | For Home Theaters, For Personal Computers | | Subwoofer Connectivity Technology | Wired | | Subwoofer Diameter | 12 inches | | UPC | 856677007763 | | Warranty Type | Full | | Water Resistance Level | Not Water Resistant | | Wireless Technology | No Wireless Communication Technology | | Woofer Diameter | 12 inches | ## Product Details - **Audio Output Mode:** Surround - **Brand:** SVS - **Frequency Response:** 20 hertz - **Mounting Type:** Floor Standing - **Speaker Maximum Output Power:** 1500 watts ## Images ![PC-2000 Pro 12" Ported Cylinder Subwoofer (Piano Gloss Black) - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81rAsOMy8ML.jpg) ## Questions & Answers **Q: Does this form factor (PC) work well on carpeted floors?** A: I have mine on carpet and it works fine. It sounds great and is very sturdy. No issues at all. **Q: The cable to connect to receiver is a rca male- receiver to 2 rca male- subwoofer?** A: The back of the subwoofer does have two RCA inputs. However one is clearly marked for a single RCA in. The input is highlighted and is marked as LFE. I run a single cable from the back of my receiver to this subwoofer using the LFE input. There's really no reason to use a y cable at this end. **Q: Is 110v only or 220v to?** A: Thanks for your question. Units sold in this country are 110 volt only. The PC-2000 connects to the sub out or LFE output of an amplifier or home theater receiver via RCA interconnect cable. It can connect wirelessly with the optional SoundPath Wireless Audio Adapter.
