I work in a virtual call center, so I must have a good reliable headset with good quality sound.I have gone through a lot of headsets. I started out life buying them from Walmart, Target, Best Buy and other local retailers. That was a waste of time and money. They only carry the single ear headsets that give you monorail sound and leave the other ear open to outside noise.Thees headsets are cheap, but more often than not in life, you get what you pay for. An $8 headset gets you a headset worth $8!!I prefer a headset that covers both ears so I am not distracted by surrounding noise and I can concentrate on callers. I like a stereo sound so I can hear callers easily without straining, I can hear them clearly and they can hear me.So I then turned to trying several of the headsets here on Amazon. There are a lot to choose from. Many have really good reviews, but it depends so much on how the headset is used.I have not found many reviews written by people like me that work in a virtual call center. I had the idea, I suppose, that Turtle Beach and anything that was more expensive than $40 bucks was really a "you are paying for that brand name and not quality" situation. Glad to say that TB has proved me wrong.*These headphones are amazingly comfortable. Even for a lady with a small head size.*I can still hear outside of them. Good for yelling people behind you that want your attn.*The quick dissconnect feature is the best thing in YEARS. Being able to liberate myself without putting the headphones down or taking them off for a quick trip to the dryer to fold laundry (or whatever hypothetical small errand you want to insert here) is genius.*The fact that all the replacement parts and extras I can buy straight from the manufacturs website is awesome. They sell the X-box link up cable for less than 3 bucks, and the bottom connection piece that goes into your computer is less than 10 bucks, lastly they also sell replacement ear cushions.*The quality in them is awesome. I noticed I was hearing things a lot better than I usually do in game sound. These are not 5.1 surround heaphones but do have the option to plug in an adapter that makes them so (not nessisary in my opion)*My legionmates in my game/Ventrillo server said they could hear me clearly and said I sounded better than I ever had before. The microphone is fully adjustable, has great sound broacasting and is so flexable its never in my way.I'm sure I can continue to praise these things (and I've only had them 2 days) but the best thing you can do for yourself is to get yourself a pair at this reasonable price and experience the awesome that is the Z2 headset. ^^ ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ It's a hit or miss kind of deal, if it's a hit it's a flawless headset, if it's a miss it's pretty janky *by R***V on Reviewed in the United States 🇺🇸 on December 24, 2011* I bought these about a month ago ago and it was epic sound, comfortable on ears, and as long as I kept sound in the head phones then all other sound was kept out pretty much (which I am doing now because one of my roommates is watching Baggage with Jerry Springer... don't get me started...) and the volume control on the cord was very convenient. No static sound whatsoever. Long but not too long cord. Nothing but good things to say about this thing.So what's the problem? The left speaker broke off and I am telling you now I was very gentle with the head set, so I chalk it up to either low quality materials or just a fluke headset I got. So since I didn't think about warranty or anything, I just ordered another one from this site. It got in the mail yesterday afternoon. I threw my old pair away after I opened the new set (which I taped up and am using now) only to find that the left speaker doesn't work at all. So I'm quite irate at this point. I go through tech support, which is web and emailed based only (really turtlebeach... seriously...), and I come to the conclusion that I just had a faulty head set.So I'm still within the time line to return to amazon for a refund, I sign an agreement that I will send it back within 30 days in exchange for instant gift card credit to be used on the site.
