**Q: Is this a natural stone or synthetic**
A: Based on the description of the feel and texture of this type of stone form other sources, it appears to be natural. I am going to change my rating of the pendant, however, because soon after I posted my five star rating, the chain that the stone hung from broke. :-( The stone itself is still intact however.

**Q: Is this real black obsidian? I don't really care about the actual necklace. Just the pendant.**
A: I am sorry-I do not know a lot about stones. However! It seems and feels real and look good around the neck. Keep in mind that silver around pendant will eventually fade. Smile always!

**Q: Does this make your skin green after wearing the necklace for a while?**
A: pendant does not but the silver wears off the finding to reveal copper so it could over time, hasn't on me

**Q: Does this necklace has a claw clasp on It**
A: Does but don't remember the type as i put the piece on an Italian sterling chain.
