Review: Fantastic Computer! - I needed a new PC for my business, and I noticed this one, which was a no-frills powerhouse. It's a fast machine with the i7 processor and 32 Gigs of RAM, so quiet you can't hear it running. It came in perfect condition, as if it were brand new. It connects to the internet with lightning speed. With the SSD hard drive, it's like having a huge mansion of storage. This computer is worth the money. Being an HP is very upgradeable; you won't have any problem with that.

Great computer, and not just for the price! - I’ll keep this review short, so I’ve been out of the computer game for quite some time at least 10 years and needed a PC to run some programs and my 3-D printer that I picked up on desertcart. I sent a few computers that I found on desertcart to friends who know more about computers than me and needless to say they are a bunch of computer snobs lol if you’re like me and people are telling you that you need to spend more money and get the latest and greatest, don’t. Unless you’re a hard-core gamer or something like that, his computer will work for 90% of most people. I’ve only had the computer for a few days now, but it works. Flawlessly set up, was extremely easy, and it runs all my programs without hesitation. Very fast and very clean with pretty much zero bloatware loaded on it. The graphics card is integrated into the hard drive so you can’t upgrade it unfortunately but I played a few games on it and a real flight simulator and it works just fine not the greatest but pretty good. I did upgrade the USB Wi-Fi. The one that comes with it is pretty cheesy and I was only getting 24 MB per second download. I bought one on desertcart for like 20 bucks and it’s much better. The mouse that it comes with is pretty much disposable so plan on spending another $15 on a better wireless mouse. Other than that it’s an amazing computer and not just for the price. I will update if I have issues with it for longevity, but so far definitely five stars! UPDATE: Oct 2024, I have had this computer for over a year now, and I am still loving it! In fact, my work gave me a newer laptop that has windows 11 and I hate it. I will be shopping for a personal laptop for myself on desertcart, and I will make sure that it has Windows 10 Pro instead of Windows 11. And I will definitely be buying an HP brand laptop, because this desktop has more than exceeded all my expectations.

**Q: hello my name is ray all i need is a good fast desktop for home will this be good just for down load movies and music fast i know i need the cable to**
A: My wife uses this for work. I'm PC Tech and can tell you that this computer can do almost anything. The almost is "extreme" gaming (heavy on graphics) and you'd probably want to upgrade to a good video card. All that said, the amount of RAM and the fact that it has an "SSD" drive (along with a "standard" drive), makes this a very versatile PC, at a great price, that can handle almost anything.

**Q: Is this capable of efficiently running photoshop and lightroom CC  out of the box? Not looking to have it do anything other than those tasks.**
A: If it helps, I use GIMP and Corel Paintshop with all its accessories on SSD and it runs smoothly on this HP ED 800... out of the box, no added hardware (except for the monitor of course as it does not come with one).

**Q: Does the 16gb 1tb 256ssd model have a dvd-rom, or a cd/dvd that can burn cd's?**
A: It comes with DVD-RW so you can burn/write cd/dvd.

**Q: Does this come with a dvd? description states it does but picture does not show the dvd?**
A: I just checked mine that I bought in January 2021 and it has a HP DVD-ROM model: SN108, Which stands for (Digital Versatile Disc - Read-Only Memory). So can only be used for watching DVDs and installing software.

I needed a new PC for my business, and I noticed this one, which was a no-frills powerhouse. It's a fast machine with the i7 processor and 32 Gigs of RAM, so quiet you can't hear it running. It came in perfect condition, as if it were brand new. It connects to the internet with lightning speed. With the SSD hard drive, it's like having a huge mansion of storage. This computer is worth the money. Being an HP is very upgradeable; you won't have any problem with that.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great machine for the price

Got the machine delivered as promised in excellent condition. Fired it right up. Easy set up. Nice performing machine -- it is not a gaming machine -- with 32 GB of RAM, Quad Processor and SSD hard drive. For less than $200. Can't beat it. Update: Primary drive failed on April 12, 2024 after 5-1/2 months. Not entirely surprised for a refurb. No telling how long the drive was used previously. I had a spare in my closet, and put it in. I also had an emergency backup drive (USB) and was able to re-install OS. A bit time-consuming, but that's a function of Windows 10. Hint: Always keep a emergency back up device. Otherwise, in cases like this, you'd be buying another copy of Windows.
