The bars slide into another bar with the customary plastic sheath that usually breaks at some point. Thus the upright bars had a fair amount of wiggle room, even when they were at the lower height. I could not place one support bar lower until I removed the plastic end cap. Until I did, the holes wouldn't match up to insert the locking pin. The single adjustable bar joining the two sides could not keep my 180 lbs from easily spreading the upright bars apart. The upright bars plastic sheaths allow wiggle room and also the floor bars rotated outward. I had a friend weld on three bars to join the two halfs permanently together. He also welded the upright bars so now they are not adjustable. Now it is very solid and worthy of a four star rating. The hand grips are poorly padded and should be larger in circumference. ### ⭐⭐ 2.0 out of 5 stars The triceptor *by C***H on Reviewed in the United States on October 6, 2013* I would not recommend this product to anyone, shipping was a week in a half late, rust on a lot of the corners, not sturdy enough, sending a VCR tape for instructions what a joke. ### ⭐⭐⭐ 3.0 out of 5 stars Not quite a problem-free purchase, but... *by K***S on Reviewed in the United States on February 6, 2011* I purchased the Triceptor a few months ago. When it arrived, the UPS driver had left it with us with a suggestion that we request it be returned. It arrived poking holes through the box and with broken parts. So I contacted the folks at Endure Fitness and received a response from the inventor of the Triceptor apologetic and promising to send another as soon as they received the first one. After a few more weeks, another Triceptor arrived, this one appearing to be better packaged.I just put it together and it seems it will serve well as a dip machine. It does not fold, as it appear previous Triceptor models have (including the one in the picture) and I had to use a hammer to bang down a soldering bump that prevented the handles from being placed properly.
