I have some Gatorade logo'd wristbands that I got free with some Gatorade promotion and these from Unique Sports Products are much more comfortable than the Gatorade wristbands, which I thought were okay. I use these mainly while cycling as a sweat wipe. The first thing I did after trying one on, was to wash them all (by themselves) in warm water washing machine. Washing removes all the manufacturing fuzz and doing it separately keeps that fuzz from sticking to other clothes if washed together (been there, done that with something else). Then I dried in the dryer. Don't use any fabric softener which will cause water to be repelled and make these wristbands less absorbent. The cotton is woven parallel to the arm and the elastic is woven perpendicular to the arm (so it stretches when you put the wristband on). For the big names you pay 4-5 per wristband, which I find outrageous. These work just as well for what they should cost.
