As he states, ‘For many years I struggled to learn Spanish, and still knew no more than about 20 words and consequently was extremely frustrated. One day I stumbled upon this method as I was laying around with word combinations. Suddenly I came to the realization that every language has a certain core group of words that are most commonly used in a language, and simply by learning them, one could gain ability to engage in fluent communication. I discovered which those words were, narrowed them down to 350, and that once memorized, one could then connect and create one's own sentences. THE VARIATIONS WERE and ARE, INFINITE!!! By using this incredibly simple technique I could converse at a proficient level and speak Spanish.’And as Yatir points out, this book is purely for conversational Arabic, that the Arabic language is translated into Latin Alphabets (English transliteration) so the mastery of the written form is unnecessary in learning to feel comfortable in speaking the language. These are very helpful once the vocabulary is mastered, but the beauty of the book is just how quick and easy he makes a language most of us know only from hearing it on television or movies. This is a fun exercise and in today’s world, learning Arabic is more important to each of us than in previous decades!
