It is so light, holds it's shape, and small enough to slip in a carry-on when travelling. Other neck pillows can leave your neck feeling sweaty, however, this one seems to either absorb or wick off the moisture. It makes a nice neck rest while sitting watching television or for support while reading in bed. It fits adults (OLDER, also) as well as older children and really supports the neck well.
