I wanted this bench for my small entry room, but the fumes continue to be too much! I have had it outside on my covered deck for weeks. The last time I brought it in (a week ago) the off gassing was still overwhelming. I had no idea this odor would linger, or I would have saved the packaging and returned the bench. Today I'm going to put it out in the sun to see if this helps. Blends nicely with almost any decor. Has a unique apperance , people comment. Only reason I did not give it a 5 star was because it initially has a very strong odor, probably from the finish used on the wood/leather.
