I don't know what companies VW buys their wipers from (years ago it was Bosch and that is the brand I prefer). I have purchased non-OEM wipers before. They streaked after a few months and were very noisy, so I was reluctant to buy these. So far, I have been surprised. I put them on my 2016 Jetta, my everyday driver. They do fit flawlessly and are simple to change out. These wipers work surprisingly well. They clean without streaks and are quiet.
