**Q: I wonder how much weight this magnet could hold??? I'm looking to hold something that weighs about 10lbs or so.**
A: i think it would mostly depend on how thick the object is...too thick weakens the mag attraction with the backing metal

**Q: Can these magnets ne welded  to metal rods?**
A: No, you cannot.
