It reaches all the way around my neck and then some. It doesn’t freeze solidly but does stay cold for a long while. The material they use to cover it however is itchy… I even put the whole thing inside a pillowcase and I still felt the itch…! I will take it out of the cloth cover tonight and just put the bag in a pillowcase. That is manageable.
