I work in a dental office and am in a chair in front of a computer for 9 hours a day. I tend to lean forward and am destroying my spines natural arch. This fits over my office chair easily and stays in position. Unlike my old arch support pillow, this one is taller and comes up to my mid-thoracic spine so its more supportive. The curve in it forces me to sit up properly. I went in for a chiropractic adjustment and was so tight and out of alignment, I started sitting with this and a few weeks later she said I was making progress and I wasn't in as bad of shape as I was before. I definitely helps my pain and keeps me supported at work, and in the car, even at home on my couch so I keep good posture while watching long movies!
