GearWedge was designed to meet and exceed the performance of traditional 2” wedge products, while providing you greater decorative options. GearWedge also offers some real practical advantages to you regarding installation. The panels are 16” x 24,” which helps for quick and easy installation. You don’t have to worry about cutting larger 24” x 48” panels to smaller sizes for greater dispersion around the room, or to fit in tighter areas. And the GearWedge panels do match up very well when installed side by side, allowing a larger treatment area (like behind the control desk) to appear β€œseamless.” Thus, GearWedge can provide you a much more professional finished look. Beyond the look, the varying size of the individual wedges (vs. the traditional symmetrical wedge) results in the sound waves encountering a varied absorptive surface, which causes more β€œwave confusion,” thus aiding in breaking up any slap-echo and (to a slight extent), creating a small amount of varied refraction of the higher frequencies, leaving a little liveliness in the room. Plus, the cut of the GearWedge allows for the installation of smaller, hardened surfaces over parts of the panel for sound refraction/diffusion, ultimately giving you great flexibility in tuning your room to the exact sound you absolutely love. Applications: Effective mid/mid-high absorption in your studio. Cost effective coverage of larger areas in you studio or vocal booth. Can be installed over large areas with solid coverage, or used in smaller pieces with disbursed coverage to minimize flutter echo. And don't forget to pick up a pack of our NextTape adhesive tabs to help hold your GearWedge up on the walls. ## Features - Color: Charcoal - Qty: 12 - GearWedge Panels; 32 sq. ft. of coverage - Size: 16" x 24" x 1 5/8" thick ## Images ![GearWedge Acoustic Foam 32 sf - charcoal - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61mFu6JACaL.jpg) ![GearWedge Acoustic Foam 32 sf - charcoal - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/51K8QurF0oL.jpg) ![GearWedge Acoustic Foam 32 sf - charcoal - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71Ze6UPiLhL.jpg) ![GearWedge Acoustic Foam 32 sf - charcoal - Image 4](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61CevnjfdgL.jpg) ![GearWedge Acoustic Foam 32 sf - charcoal - Image 5](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71kXlTT0MBL.jpg) ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Looks great, high quality, good value. *by T***R on Reviewed in the United States πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ on October 16, 2017* high quality material, nice looking, good price. I have a corner desk and installed on 2 walls I face, about 3' up wall from desk height. Super improvement in audio quality on web conferences and podcast recordings. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Four Stars *by M***L on Reviewed in the United States πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ on August 2, 2017* Good for dispersion ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great! *by J***S on Reviewed in the United States πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ on April 24, 2016* Researched forever to find exactly what I was looking for. These were the right measurement for what I was wanting to achieve. They are a lil more unique looking than standard panels, and I feel like they are better quality/more dense than most panels at this price range and measurement. I sound treated my entire small bedroom/"studio" for around $200! Am including links and pics of the additional products I purchased to treat the room. :) Acoustic Foam Sound Absorption Pyramid Studio Treatment Wall Panel, 48" X 24" X 2" Acoustic Foam Bass Trap Studio Soundproofing Corner Wall 12" X 12" X 12" (4 PACK) NextTape Foam Adhesive Tabs --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - πŸ›’ **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** β€” Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** β€” Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - πŸ’° **No Hidden Fees** β€” All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - πŸ”„ **15-Day Free Returns** β€” Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - πŸ”’ **Secure Payments** β€” Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** β€” Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.pt/products/1781540-gearwedge-acoustic-foam-32-sf-charcoal](https://www.desertcart.pt/products/1781540-gearwedge-acoustic-foam-32-sf-charcoal) --- *Product available on Desertcart Portugal* *Store origin: PT* *Last updated: 2026-11-08*
