I somehow stumbled on an excellent price for the KMS-105 (new but at used prices). I was concerned that perhaps it was a fake. In registering my product directly with Neumann they told me the only way to verify it was to ship it to them directly. Luckily it was in CT and not Germany. Amazon agreed to pay the shipping costs to get it to Neumann and extend the product return window (major kudus to Amazon customer service). Neumann verified it as legitimate and shipped it back to me all in about a week I’m thrilled about my mic and the sound it produces.
