        			Sixling is a botanical wonder that unearths the ancient Irish taste of the cloudberry for today's discerning gin lover. The rare and highly-prized fruit, which was abundant in Ireland until the 1800s is sourced from Scandinavia and distilled with wild elderflower hand-picked from Louth's Cooley mountains. Described by Swedes as 'the gold of berries', the cloudberry gives Sixling it's distinctive, signature taste. The owners, Nicola and Tom Grills spent two years developing the brand and refining the recipe of this remarkable London dry gin (ABV 41.7%), with a total of 22 iterations of the recipe before hitting upon the perfect balance. Their secret weapon is undoubtedly the cloudberry - a rare gem of a fruit sought out by Michelin star chefs across the world seeking to discover bold new flavours. A lot of love, care and attention has gone into the making of Sixling. The owners endeavour to give their customers a truly unique taste opportunity -- a chance to rediscover a forgotten flavour of Ancient Ireland. Sixling has a stunningly fresh, fruity, floral taste with a smooth herbal finish.'' The recommend signature serve is Indian Fever Tree tonic, a wedge of pink grapefruit and a raspberry. The only citrus used is grapefruit so this compliments really well as a garnish and the raspberry is from the same family as the Cloudberry (the Rubus family) so naturally, this pairs beautifully.
