A: It's a standard size filter that is 10 inches.  I recommend you go to the aquasana website and see the size of their filters, or just measure the one you have.

After searching for more detail about Whirlpool whkf-GD05 filter, we know about the dimension of this filter is 10 in x 2-1/2 in, and the micron size is 5 micron.

Please note our filter is 10 in x 2-1/2 in, and it fits most brand filtration systems with a 10-inch filter unit. We have 5/10/20/50 micron available, you can choose a 5-micron water filter which is as same as the whkf-GD05, I believe it will work well for you.

**Q: Which filter housings do these fit into?**
A: I use it in a Omni Regular, and the GE whole house filter.  The Omni Regular takes two filters and these fit both sides.

**Q: Does the filter work for pentair whole house salt softener & carbon combo system pac 7?**
A: Not familiar enough to comment
