Product packaged well. No damage. The tools that came with the battery worked perfectly for me. Although I didn't use the case splitter tool. My thumbnail worked very well, so I didn't try it. The kit came with two torx bit screwdrivers. #5 and #4. So this should solve any of the problems I've read in pervious reviews. The #4 bit I used worked just as well as a #4 Torx bit I got from Compaq Computer years ago.Battery was about 3/4 charged when I installed it. However I have not done a full charge or seen how long the battery will last. If I remember to I'll revisit this review after a few months to say how good the battery longevity is.The only thing that I think is missing from the kit is the double backed sticky tape that Garmin uses to adhere the battery to the inside of the case. Without it the battery would flop around and could become damaged. Might be something the vendor would consider adding to the kit. But as I keep lots of this kind of tape around, it wasn't a problem for me. Installation took about 5 minutes. And like most other reviews, less than $15 battery, bigger capacity than original, and all garmin stores tell you, battery cant be replaced, you have to buy new GPS. new battery holds charge way better than orig. all up, great work from store & amazon. pitty amazon dosent have a reasonable post to aust. batt $13. post $35. i know that the post serv, not saying anything bad about amazon. but they can do get sell etc, so many other amazing products, just wish they could sort a reasonable post serv. (yes i know some things are good price or free post). again thnx for awesome all round experience.
