It seems well made. I soldered the included pins to it so it could be attached to a breadboard. It is especially useful because of the beefier 3.3V regulator. More than enough current to run itself and a ESP8266 WiFi board. I find that the standard regulator does not give enough current to be of much use so I usually end up having to build my own 3.3V regulated supply. This board solves that issue. Other than that it is pretty standard Arduino Pro Mini with extra I/O. It also comes with the 0.1" headers which is another plus. One thing to watch out for is that this board is 3.3V only so be sure to double check your USB to TTL serial cable to make sure it uses 3.3V levels and is not just 3.3V compatible.
