Less than a week before our NYE party I decided to try a couch cover, which I had a lot of experience using in my early 20s with mismatched everything. Let me tell you there have been some major advancements in the way of furniture covers- and if you've made it this far you are probably well aware. Two piece covers? This was new to me. Multi piece covers that you could individually cover each cushion? The fancier and more technical it got, the more overwhelmed in the right kind of way I became. Then I landed on this cover. Velvet. I liked the sound of this. But I also was concerned that the fabric may be too thin. After spending a couple more hours looking I finally rested on this one. And I'm so glad I did. It arrived the night before the party, took about 10 minutes to put on, fit perfectly- I mean perfectly, and was unbelievably soft. That velvet feel is real. After it was on, our couch totally transformed into what looked like a brand new, very clean, updated and comfortable piece of living furniture, all my concerns were gone except what to do if some moron got food on it. Well, that moron was me, and it cleaned up fast and easy and didn't change the color or texture of the fabric.For less than $50 I have a seemingly new couch that I'm in no rush now to replace. I really like this so much that I will wind up buying different colors and changing them seasonally.
