Thins is my second djembe from them- its simply perfect in size, beautiful design and its to fall in love and become friends at the first sight.

Deep sound, great condition, fun to play and I’m an adult.

This is my first drum. It is a lot of fun to play. Is well made and looks good. It would be better if it had a carrying strap to wear and hold it. I would recommend this to anyone.

When i first purchased this product I had no issues. The other day I heard a pop noise and the entire top of the drum popped open. I rarely played this because of a hectic work schedule. Why this happen.. I do not know. Than I looked inside to discover only the shell is wood and inside is cardboard. Thick layers of cardboard. And the top is not skin like it is paper like. And I have new known an animal skin that can tear so easily. I take away my previous rating and give this a low rating. Poor product now that I know i just purchased a bunch of cardboard shaped into a drum.

My husband loves to beat on everything he can find. he loves his drum and plays it all the time. well made and will be used very often.

Useful as a decorative piece or as an instrument. My one complaint is that it doesn't seem (and I'm no expert) like you can get a good "rimshot" sound out of it, as I have seen others get from similar drums.

The africa Heartwood project logo is on the top which adds to the beauty of this drum. Although I am a beginner in drum circle and drumming the sound is what I expected. The drum however exceeded my expectations in beauty. The base is beautifully carved and it appears to have come from one piece of wood. I am so happy with the product and price!!!!

The drum is great and I love the cause. It arrived in great condition and plays wonderful.
