It did however, come with batteries but they can be costly over time and can be unreliable when their charge nears its end. Browsing on Omron's webpage, I found that the compatible adapter was the HEM-ADPTW5 AC Adapter. Despite the price high tag they were wanting to charge for this thing, desertcart had it at an excellent price. I can confirm it works beautifully with the monitor.
