## Description

desertcart.com: Almond Milk Unsweetened Plain Concentrate by JOI - 2-Pack x 27 Servings - Vegan, Kosher, Shelf Stable, Keto-Friendly, Dairy Free, & Fat Free Milk - Almond Milk Powder Substitute, Coffee & Plant Milk Creamer : Grocery & Gourmet Food

## Features

- Plant Milk on Your Terms: JOI’s game-changing almond milk unsweetened concentrate allows you to create your perfect plant-based milk. Each jar of our Almond Base creates up to 7 quarts of non-dairy milk. Just add water and blend to your perfect consistency. Includes two 15-oz jars.
- Just One Ingredient: Our Almond Base is made of just one ingredient — blanched California almonds. We use the entire nut (minus the skin), so you benefit from all the natural protein, fat, and fiber of whole almonds.
- Make it Your Way: Add, Blend, EnJOI! Customize your milk with your choice of sweeteners and spices, add more or less JOI for the perfect consistency, and store in the refrigerator for up to 7 days. Make as much or as little as you need. Or go beyond milk and use JOI in all your plant-based recipes like sauces, soups, and desserts.
- Clean Ingredients: We’ve ditched the unnecessary preservatives, additives, gums, and sugars so you are left with the best nutrient-dense base. JOI’s almond milk unsweetened concentrate is 100% vegan, non-GMO, gluten-free, kosher, keto-friendly, paleo-friendly, and Whole30 approved.
- Plant-Based and Planet Safe: In order to reduce packaging waste, we’ve created concentrates that significantly reduce the need to ship heavy water weight cross-country, can ship more product in one order, save significant storage space, and because of its long shelf life (up to 18 months!) we can actually reduce food waste from storage. Plus, our new glass jars are perfect for reuse and can be infinitely recycled.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Hello. once i open the plastic container what is the average shelf life on this product. what a great idea you have here. cannot wait to try it.**
A: Hi! Thanks for your question. The shelf life remains the same. 18 months from the manufacturing date. Please refer to the expiration date printed on the container for an exact time frame. Please note that the product is best stored with a closed lid, in a cool, dry place, such as a cabinet. We hope you love JOI!

**Q: Can you make non-dairy evaporated milk with this? What would the ratio be?**
A: For a non- dairy evaporated milk version of JOI we suggest 3 tbsp of JOI per 1 cup of water.

**Q: Is it cheaper than buying milk at the store?**
A: Hi, Samantha! Some grocery store-bought almond milk may have a lower price per serving because the milk is diluted at a higher ratio than what you're creating with JOI. Our 1 tbsp to 1 cup ratio has a 6% almond content, while grocery store brands that state 30-60 calories have 2-4% almond content. They then add gums and additives to mask the diluted flavor that is initially created. By all means, you can dilute JOI to hit those same calorie levels and price points that you desire, just experiment a bit more with JOI to find your perfect consistency, flavor, macro levels, and price point.

**Q: Is it supposed to have a seal over the opening?**
A: Hi, Tamera! It should have a sticker on it, not the usual plastic seal in other jar products. The sticker is there for you to know it hasn't been tampered with. Our jars will come sealed but not vacuum sealed so they won't pop like a salsa jar.
