I am making my home "smart" and am slowly replacing my light switches with "smart" versions. I bought these wire connectors because I don't really like wire nuts as they tend to slip off my connections pretty easily. I figured these connectors would be easier to use and would hang on to the wires a bit better than wire nuts. If I was sticking solely to solid romex electrical wire, that would have been the case, but many of my "smart" switches come with braided wire already connected and I found that these connectors don't do well with that braided wire. I couldn't get them to "grab" the braided wire tightly enough to hold on when I stuffed the wires back in the electrical box.I don't necessarily fault these connectors though. For whatever reason every electrical box in my house has about twice as many wires in it as are needed. I honestly am not sure what the electrician was doing when my house was wired, so stuffing wires, connectors and switches back into the boxes is quite a chore and these connectors just weren't strong enough to handle the force.If my boxes weren't so full of wire and if I was only using standard solid electrical wire though, these would be great! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Easy Than Soldering *by J***Y on Reviewed in the United States on April 27, 2021* I had a bunch of the original design with the longer lever.
