Whatever it is made of feels nice and does not smell. It is a nice little stool that I use at an adjustable art table. Hope that helps. **Q: Arevthe wheels lockable** A: No they do not lock. **Q: When the stool is at the lowest hight how high is it in cm?** A: Stool at its lowest is 48cm Stool at its highest is 64cm **Q: What size mm are the Casters for the wheels?** A: Supplied casters are 50mm dia, 11mm spigot, I’ve swapped most of mine out for 3” casters for easier rolling on hard floors, but no improvement on thick carpet. Hope that helps! ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Classic and simple style *by K***E on 3 March 2026* Nice chair, easy to assemble it ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Fab!!! *by K***H on 3 January 2026* Way solid and easy to put together, took me 2 mins.
